About me
I have been teaching English for exams, for business and generally for over 3 decades.
starting my working life writing instruction manuals for measuring and Xray instruments, having 5 years training in electronics Realising I was more interested in people I used my qualification in electronics to transition to psychology, taking a degree in brain science.
From there I went to the UK Min of Work, doing rehabilitation of clients who had suffered serious illness or injury. Frustration with the system triggered me to leave to do an enterprise, eventually forming The Dovetail Partnership creative agency with talented designer Marcus Bolt (50-50 Subud and non-Subud clients over 8 years).
Upon marrying Harina I moved to Greece where I introduced Psychometric Aptitude Testing ... which is now widespread, I'm happy to say.
I started teaching English to supplement our 4-child family income. and it soon became my main activity.
For 20 years I have been an accredited Speaking Test Examiner for Cambridge ESOL and Michigan upper suites and have also taught Business English in companies such as the food giant Delhaize.
Living in Greece and having been on WSC as Z4 Rep (24 countries) has given me wide experience with different cultures.

40 euros for a 1.5 hour lesson (the default).
One hour is also possible for 30 euros if at least twice per week.

My approach
Structured conversation lessons, with writing as an optional addition. Of critical importance is to produce the language. Reading is used to support speaking and writing unless a student has a special need to focus on reading.... From extensive life experience I can cover a very wide range of topics
One to one or small group English lessons at the B1 to C2 level, targeted to particular Cambridge and Michigan exams and to IELTS and TOEFL.
General competency lessons and business English lessons
