I was equally good at English and Science but hated school. I left at 16 to do 5 years paid training in electronics, subsequently getting a position writing manuals for complex measuring and Xray equipment.

Being more interested in people than things I used my qualification in electronics to transition to psychology, taking a degree in brain science at Sussex University.

After a spell as an occupational psychologist for the UK Gov I felt that enterprise was my thing and formed a creative agency as a copywriter (The Dovetail Partnership) with talented graphic designer Marcus Bolt.

Living in Greece and two terms on ISC (Tapes Officer) and WSC (Z4 -24 countries) has given me wide experience in communicating within different cultures.

I started editing and proofreading by request and have edited numerous academic theses and full books. I am mentioned in the acknowledgments by Professor Costis Hadjimichalis in his book Crisis Spaces about the Mediterranean countries in the EU.
