Born in the hot dry of Griffith NSW Australia on the edge of the desert where an oasis of water & farms bristling with all manner of delights. The trains 100 or more carriages long full of wheat took forever to slowly pass. I have now lived in many parts of Australia before finally stopping off at Andamooka S.A. truly a desert town of just 600 residents where searching for Opals is a way of life & the sound & vibration of dynamite is a thing not easily forgotten. Water is trucked to the house & the fan runs day & night. Phone signal is patchy & internet is a satellite.
