About me

I am a retired teacher and social worker. I worked in children's psychiatric units for 20 years and regular schools for another 10 years. My father was an artist and I have delved deeply into the world of creative art since retiring 20+years ago. I have focused on acrylic use, sculpture, pastel and am settled into working with oil. I am known locally for a large series of portraits of the homeless, well known senior women and young and up coming advocates and environmental influencers. I have also gotten great joy from painting plein air both in BC, Canada, and Florida.
I have been an active SUBUD member for 30+ years, attended several World Congresses, had numerous local committee jobs, was chairman of Subud Victoria for 4 years, and I am currently a director on the Susila Dharma Canada board.

Able to offer to paint commissions of portraits of people, animals, landscape and buildings

Price

I charge according to size usually running from $400.00 USD to $2000.00 USD.
When doing a portrait I ask for half down and the rest when the customer is satisfied and the painting is about to be delivered.
